Late last month, DStv and GoTV announced the launch of the new Superheroes channel, TOONAMI to air as a pop-up channel on DStv channel 300 and GoTV channel 71. TOONAMI is a WarnerMedia’s channel and has been in existence across Africa for the past three years. The channel is designed for kids especially between the ages of eight and 12, offering non-stop and 24-hour top-rated cartoon series such as DC Comics’ Batman, Superman, The Green Lantern, Young Justice, and The Justice League as well as popular animated series Teen Titans, Throne of Atlantis, Monster Mayhem, among others. Wow! Talk of Superheroes overdose. . .
So we decided to wait a bit, enjoy the channel and review all the promises of ‘action’ and ‘pulse-raising‘ enjoyment made by DStv and GoTV when launching this new channel. Trust us, it is as entertaining as promised! There’s something for everyone across all ages of cartoon lovers, from standard 2D graphics to 3D Green Lantern cartoons. The channel 71 is no longer showing in my Gotv decoder, and I have subscribed already, please what do I do?
We were hoping the channel would stay around longer than it did, but Toonami is a pop-up channel, which means it could be taken off at any time and reinstalled again at any time. For now, we really don’t know why it’s taken down, but stay tuned. We would update with a related article once we know why and if it would come back. A certain time, GoTV introduced Cartoon Network and I was thrilled but that too was taken off.

Yes, the channel was a pop-up channel initially. It may be reinstalled to show again or never, we are not sure. A new total cartoon channel may equally be added in place of Toonami.
Pls multichoice bring toonami back and swap it with both pbs kids and Jim jam first real cartoon station since kidsco left

Yes, Al-amin sani and it really hurts us. However, it was a pop-up channel and wasn’t meant to be around for a long time. Multichoice might bring back the channel or perhaps add a new one in its place.
